Civic Integration

Music: playlist 300308.. rockin’ & bluesy

Mood: mixed, low and even downwards
In my glass: Spanish red

Took a long walk with Fox – but no pictures during the walk ;)

Talking about taking pictures:
I’m not doing well. OK, I’m not saying that “I’m not good” (hah, that’s something!), but one thing is for sure and that is “I’m not doing very well”. Gee, I really hate to say that but it’s true.

------------------------

Received a letter from Social Development Services of the city government.
I have to attend a group meeting of “foreigners who would need to integrate”. HUH?????
After this meeting, they (the authority) decide whether I need to take a “Civic Integration Course”.
….OK, it sounds like “fun”.

-------------------------

’Til It Shines
(Thunder)

I look in the mirror, I stand one eighty-five
I’m glad I’m not too short, I’m glad I’m alive
Sometimes on a bad day, I got no self-esteem
Especially when I see those shining colour magazines

Lord, you know I can see the picture now
Of the transformation they could do for me
If I was dumb enough I’d pick up that phone
And get in line, and they could stretch my sat on skin until it shines

Desire and envy, welded up in your heart
You wanna take that hammer to your next door neighbour’s car
So you dream of the good life, and how the fantasy burns
Makes you gamble on the TV, but you never ever learn

One in a million is better odds than you’ve got
But you still believe that this could be the one
Why don’t you just relax and try to conceal the perfect crime
Well, you can rub your lucky charm until it shines
Until it shines

Just spend your heart and money on a house of cards
Not knowing which way the wind will blow
Invested all your love and on a crazy whim
And there’s no telling where she goes

So you spend your time with dreaming, thinking how it used to be
’Til you come to know the meaning of regret
You convince yourself that everything’s a going how it all appear, in your head
You’re polishing the dirt until it shines
Lord until it shines, oh
Until it shines
Lord until it shines

All that we’re praying for, it ain’t always what we find
So all of us sit waiting for the sun until it shines

Dream

Music: playlist 300308 – still rockin’ and bluesy. Right now “Welcome to the Party”/Thunder

Mood: down, blue, hopeless, helpless, desperate
In my glass: nothing – tonight I had only herbal tea

Mood I’m in – there are no particular reasons. Well, yes, there are some.. but they are almost “permanent”. So what I mean is – hm… don’t know, never mind. I’m so, so, soooooooooooo tired :(

Oh, btw, my dream last night… er…. It was a nice one :) Hehehe… ya, right.. I’d better go to sleep now; hopefully the dream continues ;)
