I saw a shooting star last night, a big one! It went so quick that I couldn’t make a wish. OK, next time!

My Life Is Like A Movie
(Venice)

There’s a big cry
With my name on it
And it’s coming my way
‘Cause I lost my Queen today

You know lately I find
When I look upon it
My travels unravel
Like they’re up there on a screen

My life is like a movie
And I’m starring in it
But I’m not sure if I am the hero or the fool
My life is like a movie
Changes every minute
And I don’t know the ending
But I’m in every scene

From the opening shot
It’s been Technicolor
Love and high adventure
Murder and mystery
G rated to X
Treasures lost and found
It’s like what’s real is on some reel
Spinning round and round and round

My life is like a movie
And I’m starring in it
But I’m not sure if I am the hero or the fool
My life is like a movie
Changes every minute
And I don’t know the ending
But I’m in every scene

I never know what I will see
A tragedy, a drama, or a comedy
Oh, as it’s happening to me
The only thing for certain is I don’t know what’s to be

Yeah, the Queen is gone
But the Lost Prince has returned
Her goodbye was sweeter
‘Cause she saw his face
Now the film rolls on
Close up on me
Staring out an open window
At the open sea

My life is like a movie
And I’m starring in it
But I’m not sure if I am the hero or the fool
My life is really groovy
Changes every minute
And I don’t know the ending
But I’m in every scene

My life is like a movie….

Change

Music: Shocking Blue (on a cassette tape!!), “Texas Gold”, “RascalM”

Mood: calm and… sleepy
In my glass: sparkling water

Took Fox to the vet yesterday for a yearly check-up and also for his “pee problem”. He’s peeing blood again. The vet is doing some lab tests; I have to call her on Monday..

-------------------

Bought a new camera! I was actually thinking of Canon again (S3) but I came home with a Lumix (Panasonic). Hmmmm… it’s such a big change for me, soooooo different from my old Canon. I’m going to try the new cam this weekend.

-------------------

My resolutions for this coming week.

1) Call at least one person on the phone.
2) Max. 1 x snoozing (you know, the alarm clock!). I sometimes keep “snoozing” for hours!
3) Get rid of at least 1 old thing that I never use any more.

-------------------

I was looking through the drawers and found a very old cassette tape of Shocking Blue. Hmmm… I used to sing those songs very, very loud when I was at junior high.

California Here I Come
(Shocking Blue)

Got a long, long way to go
Over her dusty roads
Take my old brown suitcase
And leave at the break of day

I’m not afraid of the distance
Some time on my side
Hear me singing my song
California here I come

When the sun’s going down
Silence is the only sound
Oh restless are the nights
When nobody’s around

I’m not afraid of the distance
Some time on my side
Hear me singing my song
California here I come

Day after day I’m going
Over her dusty roads
How long will this go on
Until I’m there where I belong

But now troubles are over
I wipe off the dust on my boots
Hear me singing my song
California now to come

California now to come….

Tonight...

Music: “Texas Gold”, “RascalM”

Mood: encouraged
In my glass: nothing

I made a wish tonight… well, it’s more like… a plan… a decision.. but not quite. I’m not sure if it’s going to happen. If yes, it will definitely change my life. If not, it’s ok, too, because I actually see this past night as a very important turning point.

-------------------

I’m now trying to re-organize my life with a lot of help and support – practically and mentally - from my friends. It’s very hard to get rid of all those negative thoughts I have piled up in my small world. Right now I’m working on one thing at a time. I don’t see any big difference yet but then I say to myself that it will take time.
