Stolen!
Went to the farmers market in downtown Utrecht, parked my bike as usual at Music Centre near the market place. When I came back, the cycle-bags were gone! Yes, stolen. Aaaarrrrgggghhhh!! I can't live without those bags, you know. How should I carry 2kg of tomatoes, 3kg of oranges, 1kg of apples, 2 loaves of (heavy sour dough) bread, 500g+ of cheese now...? Besides, my bike looks so naked without the bags. I just don't understand who steals something like old cycle-bags?
The rear wheel and the luggage carrier....so naked.

You're so lucky, they stole your cycle-bags, not your bicycle!
A picture of your cycle-bags laying on the sidewalk, without a bicycle, THAT would really be a sad sight! :)

Somebody who needed cycle bags or thought something worthful was in, maybe. Or just some "Krawallmacher"...
Talking of oranges and apples you are not talking of Strunz & Farah and OL, no?...... (this was an "insider" joke)
Imagine that your bicycle was stolen and you from now on had to walk home with a stick over your shoulders and one bag left, the other right....
