PThE

Music: Playlist 150707 (Thunder, Lyn. Skyn., SRV, Keb’ Mo’, Tommy Castro etc.) – right now “Until My Dying Day” by Thunder

Mood: …hard to describe
In my glass: nice cold beer (Brand)

Wishes are to be realized… with your will power AND some good help from your friends.

It’s been a week since my meeting Thunder and I can now hardly cope with this “PThE” (PostThunder Emptiness). I’m not feeling like working (ok.. that is not new), I keep looking at the photos I took of them, smiling, sighing, grinning. I can’t sleep, I can’t eat. You’d find it even scary if you saw me like this. And I find myself so so so silly, dumb, stupid and ridiculous that I’m acting like a teenager.

As I don’t have any other person or object or whatever that I can be devoted to, Thunder is the “victim” and in that way, they save the world. (LOL!).

I was at the festival because of a friend. When she told me about a month ago that she would be at the festival, I asked – begged – her if I could join her. I knew of course Thunder would give a show at the festival but I had already given up to go there (it’s very far, the ticket is very expensive, I don’t like a festival very much… etc.). She, who works in a record company, was going there for her work and had to think about it for a moment… Then she said: “You may come with me only if you take a pic of J.F. when he receives the Gold Disc.” OK, ok, how could I say no to that??? I can’t take pictures on demand but I still have one month to practice….
Anyways, I was there. Actually for nothing. Because Mr. J.F. didn’t wish to receive the Disc, I was free from working. Oh, I was already soooooooooo glad and happy to see the show of Thunder! I was not expecting to meet them in person!!

My conversation with Mr. Bowes went like this:

- Mr. Bowes, may I, may I, may I…..? (pointing at my cam)
- ‘f Course, ‘f course, ‘f course you may, you may, you may”
- (omg, omg… my cam, my cam.. have to change the setting… but how.. omg…)
- Don’t panic, don’t panic, don’t panic…

And with Mr. Matthews went like this:

- May I take a photo with you?
- Oh, yes, of course.. um, wait for a sec, please. I’ll be back.
- Oh, yes, sure. (… ay.. is he really coming back??)

Yes, he did come back!!! But my friend didn’t want to help me with taking a pic and walked away (I think she was embarrassed). (Hmmm… Houston, Houston, we have a problem.. I have nobody to take a pic of us..)

- Um… I can’t find a photographer who could take a pic of us…
- Er, well, there must be some around here… (he looks around and sees a photographer he knows) Ah, he can!!

And yes, he could and he did… only, he took a photo of us with HIS camera (with that big tele lens on it!!) Now I’m afraid I will never see that photo he took.

Anyways (again), this meeting was just much too much for me to stay cool. Now, one week later, I’m still in the seventh heaven.

Photos.
Oh, ya, photos… it was the first time for me to take photos of their show (or any show) in the daylight. Ooh.. I liked that!! Took more than 450 photos that day in total, of which about 350 are Thunder photos :)

Yeah,… I know, I’m nearly obsessed.. :(

---------------

Today, I’m feeling weak and dizzy again. It’s hot and very humid since yesterday and I can’t adjust myself to it.
