If you like this kind of drums and the music of the region they are used and not only photo it for aesthetic or nostalgic reasons, then you might like the album I'm currently listening to. ;-)

Tststs, you got to track it. :-P Ah, it's not difficult, although I've mentioned only one song out of it. But that's the best one.

Sowwy.... I know him only as a classical music artist. I'm now listening, BTW, to an Uzbek-pop. :-)

Hey Kym, do you play an instrument - percussion maybe? I tell you, Ron an Robby look like they're having so much fun I sometimes think I should switch to percussion!

Well, it's Kayhan Kalhor playing mostly I think. It's not Yo-Yo Ma's track. He's just the supervisor.

It's a Dumbek. The used to be made of clay with a fish-skin stretched across the top. This seems to be made of metal with a man-made head and tuners. Ron plays one made out of vinyl-covered aluminum withe a mylar head.

Hi Anonymous,
Thanks! Now I know the name of the drum, I can surf on the net to do some homework. :-)
